English Premier League: Samuel Eto’o Earns Spot in Game Week 9 Dream Team
For bringing out his killer instincts during Sunday’s English Premier League games (9th playing day), Samuel Eto’o Fils who netted two fantastic goals for Everton has been given a spot in the Week 9 Dream Team.
The performance of the 33-year-old Cameroonian professional during Sunday’s clash against Burnley did not live sports pundits indifferent. They were all unanimous that Eto’o merited his spot on the Dream Team of the 9th playing day of the EPL.
By netting two goals in that game, Eto’o passed from two to four goals in five league appearances this season for Everton – a brilliant performance which has not only earned him a place among the 11 majors of the Week 9 Dream Team but also the admiration of the British press and his manager.
Infact, Everton manager Roberto Martinez described the former Chelsea striker as “an incredible professional,” adding that “I was extremely proud of his performance. His link-up play was exceptional; his defensive work was very disciplined.”
